Oklahoma’s top-ranked women’s gymnastics team is set for its first trip to the state of Texas in 2024 as they head south of the Red River for the annual Metroplex Challenge. Oklahoma has earned a total of 66 scores of 198 or higher in program history, including 58 since 2016. Of those 66 scores, only 25 were earned at home, and 41 were earned in road or neutral-site contests. Twenty of these scores were earned in regional or national competitions, including a 198.3875 at the 2023 NCAA Championships, which is tied for the highest NCAA final score in history. In 2023, the Sooners posted a new program record with a 198.575 against West Virginia on February 24, 2023.
