Motorola recently announced some new budget smartphones that will be released in the near future. These are a refresh of his popular Moto G Power and Moto 5 5G phones. The upcoming handset will be an iterative update, so it won’t reinvent the wheel, but there are some great features worth sharing.

Moto G Power : Features

The 2024 Moto G Power features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, and his 50MP camera system with image stabilization technology. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, 128GB of internal storage with microSD slot, 8GB of RAM, 5G connectivity, and a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. When it comes to streaming media, light gaming, and web browsing, it definitely gets the job done.

The new Moto G Power also features a fingerprint-resistant back cover made of vegan leather, which the company says offers a “stunning, premium design and comfortable feel.”

Moto G Power : Price

This phone will arrive at Cricket on March 22nd, and the unlocked version will arrive at traditional retailers on March 29th. It costs $300.

Moto 5 5G: Features

The Moto G 5G includes a slightly smaller 6.6-inch 120Hz display, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, and a 50MP camera system with a macro lens. As the name suggests, it is a 5G-enabled phone powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and 4GB of RAM. Like the G Power, it is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that can be charged quickly. It comes with 128GB of internal storage but features an expandable microSD slot.

The updated Moto G 5G will be available on T-Mobile and Metro on March 21st, with wider availability starting May 2nd.

Moto 5 5G: Price

Its price is only $200. Motorola also recently released a refreshed version of its G Play smartphone priced at $150. The company certainly loves its G series phones.
