“Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their troubles are just beginning,” the global streamer teased.

The episode is a sequel to the first episode of season 4 and follows Daly, played by Jesse Plemons, a reclusive programmer who co-founded a popular massively multiplayer online game. Frustrated, Daly simulates a Star Trek-like space adventure in the game by creating digital clones of his coworkers and using their DNA to guide them as captain of the USS Callister spacecraft. However, newly recruited Nanette Cole, played by Cristin Milioti, encourages the rest of the crew to mutiny against the captain.

This renowned episode was penned by the series creators, Brooker and William Bridges, and helmed by Toby Haynes. Meanwhile, Brooker, Jessica Rose, and Annabelle Jones will assume the roles of executive producers for the season.
